Yep, Licorice Puck is back - again! This black, round classics made a long-awaited and highly acclaimed comeback in 2008, to coldly monte cruz removed from the 2011 glass map. Many questioned the GB's decision, and now we get back to enjoy some licorice ice cream in the parks. Of course connects one year foray with Hockey World Championships to be held in Finland and Sweden in May 2012 - two big licorice nations (perhaps even the only two?).
As you know, I think Liquorice Puck is liiiite mainstream, thus slightly kind, okrispig and not enough salt in comparison with many other licorice ice creams out there. But that GB (and the masses) would go through life without licorice were just too preposterous and sad to be true, and Licorice Puck is good and popular for shunted aside.

Anonymous, cowardly, tasteless. That's my opinion about liquorice puck. How hard can it be to swap out the vanilla ice cream (found in every glass) against licorice ice cream? I liked Smack licorice from the ice cream truck, it had also licorice pieces of shell. Otherwise, the offer is scary scant on the swab and ostrich market. My only recourse has been to buy gigantic package of licorice ice cream from Ase Glass and embellish it with liquorice, ditto sprinkles monte cruz and a little mixed licorice candy with just enough bite.
